Can I do a photo engraving on my mother's display urn?
Asked 3 years ago
Hello, My late mother's birthday is coming up, and I want to do something special for this year's memorial. We’ve had her remains in the same display urn for 5 years now and I feel like it was a bit rushed and it doesn’t really honor our beautiful mother's life and personality. I’m thinking of personalizing her new urn with my favorite picture of my dear mother.

An engraving of a photo is very possible, depending on the urn's material. The best materials for engraving are marble, granite, brass, aluminum, and wood. If you have an urn in mind that isn't the most suitable for engraving, an engraved plaque with your mother's photo can be attached to the front of the urn.
