Is a microfiber cloth suitable for removing streaks and stains from a brass urn?

Asked 3 years ago

My brother recently died, and we had him cremated. We bought him a beautiful brass urn, but it has started to develop spots and smudges. I've been researching how to care for brass without damaging its delicate finish, but I'm unsure which fabric to use. Should I clean this with a microfiber cloth?

Microfibre cloths are a must because they are soft and can prevent the appearance of any unwanted streaks after cleaning an urn. You can even use this type of cloth to remove any kind of dirt by applying a drop of mild cleanser, then using water to rinse the surface.
