Is brass a good option for a burial urn if I am on a tight budget?
Asked 3 years ago
Hi, my dear brother was a dah and managed to die before me. Both our parents died when we were children and none of s ever had much money. As I result, I'm the only one, and I'm left to figure out how I am going to get my brother a burial urn without putting myself out of house. When I looked up affordable burial urns, I found a lot of brass ones. They're quite beautiful too. Will a brass urn be non-corrosive and withstand the weather elements? Would the design of the burial urn also impact the price?

The design of the urn does affect its price. However, there are still many beautifully designed brass urns available that are affordable. Brass is a corrosion-resistant metal and will not rust due to its low iron content. But, it can form a bluish patina layer from oxygen exposure over time. Fortunately, this doesn't affect the brass's structural quality.
