Can you put cremated ashes in a garden?

Asked 3 years ago

Hello everyone, our beloved grandmother passed away, and we are going to have a cremation. We were brainstorming what we could do with her ashes or what she might have wanted, and we think we're going to put her in the garden that she so loved so much. The question is, do we just scatter her ashes, or is there another way to do this?

Usually, people keep the ashes of their loved ones in an urn or columbarium. However, cremated ashes can be placed in a garden. You can scatter the ashes, or you can bury them in a pot or box. Scattering the ashes in your grandmother's favorite garden is a lovely way to have a garden memorial.
