Is aluminum an ideal metal for making an engraved a burial urn?
Asked 3 years ago
Good evening, I want to make a burial urn that will house both my parents' cremation ashes. We also have a private family columbaria that is open and where they'll be put to rest. Therefore, the material of the urn also needs to be weather resistant, as well as be able to be suitable for a detailed carving. So far, aluminum seems like a good choice in terms of being corrosion resistant, but I'm not sure whether it will be suitable for engraving.
