Which material is ideal for an equine companion urn?
Asked 2 years ago
We lost our most prized horse, Sapphire, and I want to make sure we honor and commemorate him in the best way possible. My husband wants him to be cremated, and I thought it would be a great idea if we all had a piece of him. I just don’t know what material would be best for our dear horse. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Granite or ceramic are popular choices for equine urns. However, the material and size are also dependent on what you want to do with the urn. All materials that are suited for human ashes are also suited for horses. Because horses are large creatures, you may need a few large urns to divide his ashes between.
