My brother and I are using a cultured marble above ground urn vault to hold our father's urn. Will this material be susceptible to stains?

Cultured marble is a beautiful material to use for an urn vault, but it requires special care to keep it in good condition. Cultured marble does stain easily because it is porous. It is important to apply a wax coat to the marble every now and then to protect it.
