My dad always said that he wanted to be scattered in the ocean when he died, but the problem is that our sea is very windy, and his ashes will go everywhere. I found something called a water burial urn. How do they work? Do they float in the water forever?

The bottom of the water burial urn will dissolve within a short while, and the cremains will slowly be released into the water. The rest of the urn will also dissolve away eventually.
