What size urn do I need for a 300 pound man?

Hey everyone, my brother passed away 3 days ago and I've started looking for urns. My only issue is that have no idea how much ash a 300lb man would be. What size urn should I be getting? Thanks!

You would likely need to purchase an extra large urn. Standard adult urns hold between 200 to 250 cubic inches of ash. The general rule is that you need one cubic inch of urn space for every one pound of body weight. So for 300lb you will need 300 cubic inches.
