How many urns can be buried in one plot?
Asked 4 years ago
Hi, we've got a family plot where a few family members have been buried. Most of them are in urns, so I was worried about whether there is a limit on how many people or urns we can have on the plot?

Most cemeteries will allow at least two urns to be buried on one burial plot. This is because while most burial plots are made to hold caskets, cemeteries are not against having two urns in one plot. However, some cemeteries might even allow four and even up to six urns. It is all dependent on the cemetery you choose to do the burial at.
