How many people can be present for a burial?
Asked 3 years ago
We have the funeral service all planned for my godfather, but we're stuck on planning the burial. We don't know exactly who should be present for the burial. How many people can be present for a burial traditionally?

Generally, only close friends and family attend the cemetery burial, but there is no hard and fast rule about this. You are welcome to invite as many people as you wish. If you have a separate memorial service after the burial, then you could also invite people who don't attend the direct burial to that.
