Is it better to display a cremation urn at home or keep it packed away?
Asked 3 years ago
My late mom wanted to be cremated when she passed. While making all the funeral arrangements, I didn’t pay much attention to where I should keep the urn with her ashes. Now that the wake is over, it has become a big problem for me. My question is, do you think it’s better to keep the urn on display, or to rather pack it away where it is safe at home? Thanks for the help guys!

This is an entirely personal decision, and each person will feel differently about it. Some people feel uncomfortable having an urn on display, while others want to put the urn out so that they remember their loved one every time they see it. If your concern is the safety of the urn, you can always display it in a secure place like a display cabinent.
