What material is the best choice of cremation urn for a water burial?

Asked 3 years ago

After losing my husband who was an avid scuba diver, I’ve been looking into having a water burial for him. I know there are biodegradable urns to be placed in the sea or a river, but I’d really like a permanent urn to bury his cremation ashes in the ocean. What is the best type of material for this type of water burial? Thank you!

As you may already know, urns are made from a variety of materials from wood to marbles and even glass. It does not matter which one you choose, but you want one which will eventually sink for a water burial. You need something durable and will not be damaged by the waves.
