Are you supposed to bury a biodegradable urn in an urn vault?
Asked 3 years ago
My mother's dying wish was to have her ashes placed in a biodegradable urn. Are you supposed to bury a biodegradable urn in an urn vault?

This is all dependent on where you are burying the urn. Typically, biodegradable urns are buried straight into the ground so that they can biodegrade. A burial vault is not biodegradable, so it defeats the point. However, you will need to check with your chosen cemetery regarding their requirements for biodegradable urn burials.
