Should I get an extra large urn if I am tall?
Asked 3 years ago
My cousin is 6'7 and wants to get his remains cremated when he passes on. I've been helping him to research urn designs, and he has grown fond of Marble urns. I'm worried that a regular-sized urn might not hold all of his cremains when he gets cremated. Is it wise to get an extra large urn to hold his cremains?

Tall people typically need extra large urns because the majority of what is left after cremation is bone. In general, a good rule to follow is one pound equals one cubic inch. For example, if your cousin weighs 250 pounds, you will need an urn with 250 cubic inches (and it's recommended to get one a little larger as well).
