Are handmade urns durable?

I'm planning my funeral and want to be cremated. I've been researching different types of urns, but I can't decide on a material. I am looking for a durable urn that can be displayed in a columbarium. My coworker mentioned trying out handmade urns but I'm uneasy about their durability.

Whether an urn is handmade depends on the urn supplier. For example, the Trupoint Memorial urns are all handmade from very durable materials like brass or aluminium, which can withstand being displayed in a columbarium. Other handmade urns like paper mache urns might not last as long.
