Should I get an extra-large urn to share my final resting place with my partner?

Asked 3 years ago

My girlfriend and I have talked about having our remains cremated when we die. When we die, our families both want us to be buried together. We want to share our final resting place because we're so close together. Is an extra-large urn the best option for us?

The general rule is that you need one cubic inch of urn space for every one pound of body weight. So start by combining both of your weights as that will determine whether your combined ashes will fit into an extra-large urn or not.
