What size should a companion urn be?
Asked 3 years ago
My mother requested for her ashes to be placed with my dad's ashes in a companion urn when she passed. Sadly this day has come, and now I'm tasked with the tough job of finding the right size urn for both their ashes. My mom was only 5ft2, but my dad was 6ft1. How do I work out what size/volume the companion urn needs to be? Thank you in advance.

Trupoint Memorials offers urns in sizes ranging from large to extra large. Most companion urns will be able to hold 400 cubic inches in cremains. Depending on the weight of the deceased, size is calculated based on this. Companion urns on offer will typically be able to hold two people's ashes.
