Does it matter where I display my pet's urn in my living room?

My dog recently died as a result of breathing difficulties. My wife is redesigning our living room and wants to include a display case for our dog's urn. I want to create a positive environment in my living room, but I need to figure out where to put the display urn. Is it important where I put my pet's urn?

Choosing where to place a pet urn is a personal choice. Common locations are to place the urn in a room that your pet spent much of their time. Or, you can display their urn over the mantle, or atop of your dresser. However, do try keep the urn out of direct sunlight.
