Will my pet’s cremains leave my living space smelling bad?

Asked 3 years ago

I had my cat, Peanut, cremated 3 days ago, and his cremains is currently in a temporary urn. I want my beloved kits to have the dignity and remembrance he deserves for being such an amazing furry friend for all these years by getting him a decorative urn. My main concern is whether his cremains will leave a scent that my guests might smell.

Cats are so precious and it's so wonderful that you want to celebrate his life with a proper display urn. The good news is that cremains contain no odor, so there is no need to worry about the ashes having a smokey or unpleasant smell.
