Is a metal urn the best option for a custom engraving?
Asked 2 years ago
My husband and I have been looking for urns to upgrade our baby girl's urn for this year's memorial. It's been 3 years since her death. We have been looking at different materials, and we both agreed on metal because it seems more durable. I want to engrave it, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. I don't want to damage the urn.

My condolences for the loss of your little one; may she rest in peace. I would say metal is definitely more durable than other materials. Most metals are rust-resistance and can handle being bumped and even dropped. Aluminum is one of the best and most common metals used with engraving machines. However, brass and copper are also ideal due to them being soft enough for engraving.
