Should I keep my cat's ashes?
Asked 3 years ago
So, sadly our old lady had to be put down because of cancer in her stomach. We've arranged for her to be cremated, and now we need to work out what we are going to do with her ashes. Should we buy an urn, bury the ashes, or scatter it?

This is purely dependent on what you feel is best. If she had a favorite spot in the yard you could scatter the ashes there or bury them in an urn and place a little memorial keepsake on top. If you want to keep the ashes you can buy an urn for your home or even infuse them into jewelry or a glass decor piece.

This is a very personal decision that only you can make. However, some ideas for pet ashes include burying them in your garden and creating a little memorial place or planting a memorial tree. You could keep the ashes in a small keepsake urn or scatter them in your cat's favorite place. You can have the ashes turned into jewelry or a portrait.
