Can we add a photo inside with our epigraph outside of the urn?
Asked 2 years ago
My partner and I are thinking of getting a couple’s urn for when we pass since we both want to be cremated. We chose to pre-plan so that there wouldn't be any fuss about what should happen with our remains amongst our family. So I was wondering if we could have an epitaph and include other items in our urn besides our ashes.

You can definitely have an epitaph engraved on the outside of the urn itself or on a plaque attached to the urn. As for the other items, it's dependent on the size of your urn. Typically a companion urn has two compartments of 200 cubic inches each. The general rule is one pound of body weight equals one cubic inch.
