Is it necessary to consider weight difference when selecting a twins double-urn?
Asked 3 years ago
My twin brother and I want to get cremated when we pass on in the future. We have been thinking about being buried next to each even if one of us passes on first. My cousin suggested looking into double urns. However, we have starkly different statures, and I wonder if that can affect our options.

Most companion urns (double urns) will hold 400 cubic inches of cremated ashes or more. The general rule to calculate how much ash will be generated per person upon cremation is 1 lb. of body weight = 1 cubic inch of ashes. So use this and your combined weights to determine if a double urn will hold the two of you.
